William 'Bill' Cecil Bumgardner, age 71 of Lake City, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2011 at his home. Bill was born August 13, 1939 in Anderson County, Tn. to the late James Henry Lee and Maxine Bunch Bumgardner. He was a member of the Shultz Hollow Baptist Church. Bill enjoyed fishing, working on lawnmowers and his dog 'Buttons' and loved being with his grandchildren. Bill is preceded in death by: Parents, Sisters, Lucille Kenner and Annie Smith,,Step-Son, Micheal Brown.

Visitation: 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at Hatmaker Funeral Home with the funeral to follow in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charlie Mac Marlow & Rev. Paul Smith officiating.
Interment: Family and friends will meet at 11:00 AM at Taylors Chapel Cemetery in Clinton with military honors by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
