Wanda Faye Mitchell

Wanda Faye Mitchell, age 85, of Lake City, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at the Shannondale Health Care Center. She was a long time member of Lake City United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Harry; parents, Steven and Lou Sharp; brothers, Jean Clayton (J.C.) and Barton; sisters, Mary Lou Baker of Clinton, and Edna Ayers of Lake City. She is survived by her sister, Martha Rutherford of Toledo, Ohio; her son, Wade; daughter-in-law, Nancy; grandsons, Grant and Harrison; nephews, John Ayers, Dennis and Steve Rutherford; niece, Judy Baker. A special thanks to the caregivers at Windsor Gardens Assisted Living and Shannondale Health Care Center where Wanda was loved and given excellent care. Receiving of friends will be Sunday, April 19, 2015 from 2:00 until 4:00 at Lake City United Methodist Church. A funeral service will be at 4:00 with the burial to follow at Leach Cemetery.
