Virginia Gail Hurst, age 58, of Clinton, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at her residence. She will be sadly missed by loved ones during this season, but now she is spending Christmas with the One that the season is all about. She was born June 22, 1953 in Chatsworth, Georgia to the late Charles Glenn and Edna Eloise Roberts Stokes. Virginia attended Fratersville Baptist Church, in Lake City, and liked to crochet, watch soap operas, and spend time with her family. She loved all of her friends and family, but had a very special relationship with her great nephew, Joshua K. Scott. In addition to her parents, Virginia is preceded in death by, her sister Sharon Stokes, and brothers, Jeffrey and Larry Stokes.

Survivors:

Son Brian Keith Wilcox

Sisters Fay Williams of Clinton, with whom she shared a home.
Carolyn Dotson and Husband Gary of Clinton
Priscilla Stokes of Ohio

Half Brothers Michael and Charles Stokes

Numerous Nieces and Nephews, along with other relatives who will miss her greatly, and a host of friends.

Memorial Service will be held at Fratersville Baptist Church on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at 7 p.m.

Virginia requested no flowers, however, those wishing so may give a donation in her honor to the American Cancer Society.
