Virgil Lee Andrews Sr

Virgil Lee Andrews, Sr., 72, of Lake City, TN (Beech Grove) passed away April 28, 2016. He was born July 10 , 1943 in Knoxville to Henry B. and Marie Andrews who preceded him in death. He was a member of Pine Hill Baptist Church in Lake City. In addition to his parents, Virgil is preceded in death by sister, Una Mae Andrews and brother, Joe Carl Andrews. He is survived by his wife Susan Smith Andrews. Also surviving is his son Virgil Lee Andrews, Jr. (wife, Amy), of Frankfort, KY. Daughters: Tina L. Andrews, Lindsey B. Andrews, and Heather R. Smith all of Clinton, and Jennifer M. Armes-Murphy of Petros.

Sisters: Polly Nichols (husband, Bill) of Clinton, Honey Faye Yates of Maryville; Brother Bobby "Cotton" Andrews (wife, Nancy) of Caryville.

Other beloved family members include: nieces, nephews, 10 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter, and a host of special friends.

Virgil was an avid fisherman and hunter. He spent the majority of his career as a Bail Bondsman. He loved his children and grandchildren and they were the love of his life.

Visitation for friends and family will be held at Hatmaker Funeral Home in Lake City, TN on Wednesday, May 4th from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM with a Celebration of Life Service to follow visitation.

At Virgil's wishes, he will be cremated.
