Thelma Tackett

Thelma M. Tackett age 88, of Lake City, passed away Friday, September 28, 2012 at the Summit View Health Care Center of Lake City. Thelma was born March 15, 1924, in Stinking Creek, TN to the late Alex and Viola Meredith Lay. She was a member of the Willow Brook Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.. In addition to her parents, Thelma is preceded in death by her husband, Charlie M. Tackett, her brothers, Frank and William Lay, and her sister, Pauline Carroll.

Visitation: 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, September 30, 2012 at Hatmaker Funeral Home in Lake City.
Funeral Service: 8:00 p.m. Sunday, September 30, 2012 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Byrge officiating.
Interment: Friends and Family will meet at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Lake City at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October, 1, 2012 for her interment.
