Stella Mae Bullock, age 93, of Lake City passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at the NHC Healthcare Center in Oak Ridge. Stella was born on March 25, 1919 in Campbell County to the late John and Amanda Wilson Phillips. Stella was a member of the Willowbrook Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School before her health declined. She enjoyed reading her bible every day. Stella retired with 41 years of service as a school teacher through the Anderson County School System. In addition to her parents, Stella is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Bullock, her infant son, Benny Joe Bullock, and several brothers and sisters as well.

Several nieces, nephews whom loved her dearly, and a host of other relatives and friends
Visitation: 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Hatmaker Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 7:00 p.m. Sunday, May 20, 2012 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roger Leach and Rev. Ronnie Freeman officiating.
Interment: Friends and Family will meet at the Woodhaven Cemetery in Claxton, TN on Monday, May 21, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. for Stella's interment.
