Sheryl Ann (Braden) Jenks

Sheryl Ann Braden Jenks, age 54 of Knoxville went home to be with Jesus February 19, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 28, 1959 to Rose and Huston Braden in Oak Ridge, Tn. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Holston Hills Freewill Baptist Church. She was a devoted LPN to for over 20 years at Holston Healthcare. Caring for others was her passion in life. Sheryl enjoyed spending time with family and friends whom she loved with her entire being. She also enjoyed growing beautiful flowers, feeding and watching birds, cross stitching gifts for others, beach vacations with family and making those around her smile and laugh. Her love for others is the legacy she leaves.
Sheryl is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, William Riley and Stella Hooks Braden of Briceville and maternal grandparents George and Gladys Galloway of Cleveland, Ohio.
She is survived and will forever be missed by:
Children, Stephanie and Jason Guinn of Knoxville and Steven Adam Jenks of Knoxville.
Grandchildren: Christian and Jeremiah Guinn and Andrew and Jackson Jenks.
Parents, Rose and Huston Braden of Knoxville.
Siblings, Debbie and Rev. Ken Sharp of Lake City.
Keith and Shanon Braden of Maryville.
Sonya and Tim Martin of Knoxville.
Dawn and Dave Lander of Colorado.
Many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Dr. Willard Campbell , Dr. Ross Kerns and physicans, nurses and staff at Parkwest Medical Center.

Family will recieve friends from 2-3:00 pm Saturday May 24 at Indian Bluff Baptist Church, with a memorial to follow at 3:00 pm.
