Sarah Emogene (Moser) Jones was born in Lafollette, Tennessee on December 13, 1923 and passed away January 16, 2013 in Dayton, Ohio. She was predeceased by her father James Henry Moser, mother, Nora Claxton Moser, and her husband of 57 years, P. Dexter Jones. "Jean" was also predeceased by brothers Arnold, Vernon, Clinton and Clayton Moser, sisters Ellen Perry, Margaret Marcella Moser, Nancy Messer, Henrietta Ballard, and Nora Lee Richert. She is survived by her sister, Freeda Grant (Ormond Beach, FL.), daughter Burma (Early) Thomas (West Alexandria, OH), son Anthony (Sue) Jones (Troy, OH) and granddaughters Rachel (Matt Desorcy) Hilderbrand, (Beavercreek, OH), Hannah (Todd) Gleason, (Point of Rocks, MD), and Mara (Bill Hanson) Jones (Jamestown, OH) and great granddaughters Caitlin Hilderbrand, Abigail Gleason, and Samantha Hanson. Sarah leaves behind a large family of nieces, nephews and cousins and many loyal friends. Sarah known by many of her patients as "Jonesie", served as an office nurse with Drs. Norbert Kosater and Louis Goetz in the Dayton and Bellbrook areas for over 30 years.

Services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio on Monday, Jan. 21, 2013 at 2:00 pm. Family and friends are welcome from 12:30 pm until 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
A Private Graveside Service will be held at Noon on Friday, January 25, 2013 at the Leach Cemetery in Lake City, Tennessee.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Sarah's memory to Hospice of Dayton and/or The Foodbank, Inc.
