Sarah Jane "Janie" Jobe

Sarah Jane Jobe, age 66 of Lake City, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at the Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. Janie was born on February 5, 1947 in Anderson County to the late Levi and Irene Heatherly Harmon. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lake City. Janie loved making crafts, cooking, watching old time shows such as "Little House on the Prairie" and "The Waltons", and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Janie is preceded in death by two of her brothers: Oscar and Maynard Harmon, and three of her sisters: Mary Ruth Walden, Betty Foust, and Elizabeth Edmonds.

Son Tony Jobe and Wife Emily Briceville

Brother Hubert Harmon and Wife Betty Clinton

Sister Bonnie Byrge Georgia


Grandchildren Nathan, Dalton, and Hannah


Several Nieces, Nephews, and a Host of other Relatives, and Friends.



Visitation: 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 12, 2013 at Hatmaker Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 12, 2013 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Nephew Tim TIndell and Great Nephew Adrian Tindell officiating.
Interment: To Follow Funeral Service at the Island Ford Cemetery in Lake City.
