Russell Grance Vowell

Russell Grance Vowell, age 99 of Lake City, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at the Summit View of Rocky Top. He was born on July 7, 1917 to the late Grance David and Edith Jones Vowell in Anderson County, Tennessee. He retired from the US Air Force with the rank of Master Sergeant. Russell was a member of Clinch River Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Russell is preceded in death by his wife, Erma Davis Vowell, and his son, Rodney D. Vowell.

Visitation: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 20, 2016 at the Hatmaker Funeral Home in Lake City, Tennessee.
Funeral Service: 7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 20, 2016 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joey Cagley officiating.
Interment: Family and Friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 21, 2016 at the Oak Ridge Memorial Park for Russell's graveside service with military honors presented by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
