Ruby Leab Kennedy

Ruby Leab Kennedy, age 85 of New River, passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2018. She was born March 2, 1933 in Anderson County, TN to the late Guy Leab and Sabra Phillips Leab. Ruby was a member of Grave Hill Baptist Church. Ruby enjoyed sewing, crafting, quilting, cooking for and spending time with her family and friends. In addition to Ruby’s parents, Ruby is preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Kennedy, brothers: Vaughan, Hurstle, Ike, and Bill Leab, sister: Dolly Hungate, and daughter in law: Teresa Kennedy.

Funeral Service: 7:00 PM, Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Hatmaker Funeral Home with Rev. Murl Phillips, Rev. Wayne Phillips, and Rev. Jimmy Byrge officiating.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at 11:00am at Grave Hill Cemetery in New River.
