Roy Rogers Summerfield

Roy Rogers Summerfield, also known as "Chief" or "Pete," age 69, of Fraterville, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2013. Chief was born on August 31, 1943 in Jay, Oklahoma to the late Roy and Lucy McLaughlin Summerfield. He was an Army veteran who served in the Vietnam War. Chief loved: to talk, to do yard work, and to travel. In addition to his parents, Chief is preceded in death by: his sisters: Imogene "Sug" Cunningham and Katherine Lowe; and his brother, Issac Summerfield.

Funeral Service: 6:00 PM Saturday, April 13, 2013 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Phillips officiating.
Interment: 11:00 AM Monday, April 15, 2013 Woodhaven Memorial Gardens in Claxton with Military Honors by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
