Rosetta Smith

Rosetta Smith, age 100 of Clinton, passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at her residence. She was born on October 30, 1913 in Sterling, Tennessee to the late John Engle and Lucy Peck Engle. Rosetta was a member of Fratersville Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing, crocheting, loved children, and spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her parents, Rosetta is preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Smith Sr., sons: Herbert Jr. and Kenneth Smith, daughters: Eva Vann, Wilma Elliott, Geraldine Brewer, Brenda Smith, Grandchildren: Danny Brewer, Carl David Allen, Lisa Tennison, Larry Smith Jr., and Eilene Vann, brother: Harold Engle, sisters: Annette Gibson and Georgia Hodge, and two great grandchildren.

Visitation: 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. Sunday, October 26, 2014 at Hatmaker Funeral Home in Lake City.
Funeral Service: 7:00 P.M. Sunday, October 26, 2014 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Sweat, and Grandson Rick Stogsdill officiating.
Family and Friends will meet at Hatmaker Funeral Home at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, October 27, 2014 to go in procession to Pine Hill Cemetery for 11:00 A.M. graveside services.
