Roscoe J. Martin, age 92, of Lake City, passed away Friday, August 10, 2012 at Summit View Health Care. He was born March 19, 1920 in Anderson County, Tn. to the late Al Prince Martin and Idella Cook Martin. He was a member of the Clear Branch Baptist Church where he served as a deacon, taught Junior Boys Sunday School class for many years, later taught an adult Sunday School class, and also went on several Disaster Relief Missions. Roscoe enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. In addition to parents, Roscoe is preceded in death by his wife Demetra Martin, brother, Clifford Martin, and sisters, Lorene Abner and Flossie Hunley.

Funeral Service: 8:00 p.m. Sunday, August 12, 2012 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Lane and Rev. Tom Byrge officiating.
Interment: Friends and Family will meet at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 13, 2012 at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens in Claxton, TN for Roscoe's interment with military honors by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
