Rev. Robert Charles Shannon Sr., age 84, passed away December 9, 2016. the funeral service will be held Sunday, December 11, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Crossroads of Dunwoody. A graveside service will be held Monday, December 12, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel Baptist Church in Clinton. The family will receive friends Saturday, December 10th from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Shannon is preceded in death by his son James Allen (Jimmy) Shannon. He is survived by his wife of 63 years Mary Ellen Shannon sons Robert C. Shannon Jr. Jeffrey L. (Nancy) Shannon daughter Debbie Shannon grandchildren Erin (Caleb) Garrison Laura (David) West Jamie Shannon Mary Alice Shannon Hallie (Matt) Clark five great grandsons and two great granddaughters.
