Robert W. Patty "Bob", age 94, of Kenosha, Wisconsin passed away on Wednesday July 3, 2013 at Oak Ridge Care Center in Union Grove, WI surrounded by his family.
He was born on June 16, 1919 in Caryville, TN, a son of the late Perry and Martha Patty. During WWll Robert worked for the military as a civilian contractor at the Oak Ridge Nuclear Power Plant and was part of the development of the Atomic Bomb.
Bob was employed by American Motors as a machine set up man for 34 years retiring in 1981. He was a member of the Bristol Masonic Temple.
Robert married Noble Owens in Tennessee in 1941; she preceded him in death on August 22, 2012.
Surviving Bob are his three children: Benny (Sue) Patty, Roger (Donna) Patty and Kay(Harry Koenen) Savage; grandchildren, Dana (Scott) Hetzer, Kelly (Justin) Salerno, Katy (Andrew) Johnson, Melissa Patty, Heather Wiesneth and Justin Wiesneth, great grandchildren; Sarayla, Kiara, Trey, Abby, Tyler, Cory and Justin, one brother Albert Patty of Kenosha and three sisters in-law Leoma Patty of Racine, Opal Lamb of TN and Betty (Frank) Parrish of TN. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
A visitation will be held at Hatmaker Funeral Home on Tuesday July 9, 2013 from 12:30 p.m. Until 1:30 p.m. Graveside services will follow at Campbell Memorial Garden Cemetery at in LaFollette, TN
