Robert Arvil Arthur, Sr., age 87 of Clinton, passed away Monday, April 1, 2013 at the Summit View of Lake City. He was born on January 15, 1926 in Clinton to the late John Elmer and Edna Lea Overton Arthur. Mr. Arthur served in the US Navy in the Philippines on the USS Idaho during WWII. He retired from Tennessee Truck Lines In addition to his parents, Mr. Arthur is preceded in death by two of his sisters, Josephine Scarlett and Jonnie Bodea, and his brothers, William Elmer and Edsel Arthur.

Graveside Service: 12:00 Noon Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at Robbins Cemetery in Clinton, Tennessee with Rev. Larry Webster officiating with Military Honors by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
