Richard Lee "Dick" Meyers

Richard Lee "Dick" Meyers, age 85 of Caryville, passed away Thursday, March 25, 2010 at the UT Medical Center. He was born September 8, 1924 in Portsmouth, OH. to the late Glen and Sylvia Morgan Meyers. He was a veteran of the US Navy and served in WWII. He was a member of Pine Hill Baptist Church and Old Pathway Gospel Baptist Church. He enjoyed watching sports, golfing, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of the Campbell County Honor Guard. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by granddaughter Linda Walker, step-grandson Joe Beck, and several brothers and sisters.

Visitation: 2:00-4:00 PM Sunday, March 28, 2010 at Old Pathway Gospel Church in Lafollette, TN.
Funeral Service: 4:00 PM Sunday, March 28, 2010 at Old Pathway Gospel Church with Rev. James Leach and Rev. Acie Jones officiating. Military honors will be provided by Campbell County Honor Guard following the funeral service.
