Richard "Doug" Douglas Daugherty

Richard "Doug" Douglas Daugherty, age 77 of Clinton, TN, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2014 at the UT Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. He was born on August 27, 1937 in Anderson County, Tennessee to the late Howard and Vera Patterson Daugherty. He was a member of Laurel Branch Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, wood working, farming, walking in the woods, and spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Doug is preceded in death by: brothers, Clarence, Jimmy, and Frank Daugherty, and sisters, Faye Duncan, and Joyce "Joy" Daugherty.

Funeral: 8:00 p.m., Thursday, September 18, 2014 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Ault officiating.
Interment: Family and Friends will meet on Friday, September 19, 2014 at the Hatmaker Funeral Home in Lake City at 11:30 a.m. to go in procession to Sulphur Springs Cemetery in Clinton, Tennessee for Mr. Daugherty's interment.
