Rev. Robert Lee Kennedy

Rev. Robert Lee Kennedy, age 80, of Lake City, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2012 at his residence. He was born October 14, 1931 in Anderson County, Tn. to the late Mike and Laura Duncan Kennedy. Robert was a member of the Cumberland Mountain Missionary Baptist Church, formerly known as the Swag. He enjoyed reading his Bible, ginsenging, hunting, taxidermy, upholstering furniture, and spending time with his family and friends. He pastored at Red Oak Baptist Church and Schultz Hollow Baptist Church. He was an Army Veteran. In addition to parents, Robert is preceded in death by his son, Donnie Kennedy, sisters, Ella Minge and Rosie Marlow, half brother, Earl Kennedy, and half sisters, Zella Carroll and Della Alden.

Visitation: 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, August 19, 2012 at Hatmaker Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 8:00 pm on Sunday, August 19, 2012 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charlie Mac Marlow and Rev. Jay Braden officiating.
Interment: Friends and Family will meet at the Mountain View Cemetery on Monday, August 20, 2012 at 12:00 Noon for Rev. Robert Lee Kennedy's interment with military honors by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
