Rev. James "Jay" Eldridge Braden

Rev. James, better known as "Jay," Eldridge Braden, age 43 of Oliver Springs, Tennessee, went home to be with the Lord peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at his residence. Jay was born in Oak Ridge, Tennessee on May 29, 1972. Jay was the pastor of Brown Flats Baptist Church. Jay loved working on cars, spending time with family and friends, and going four wheeling. When he wasn't at work, you could find him either passing time with family, or working on cars. Rev. Jay Braden is preceded in death by: his mother-in-law, Catherine Aslinger; grandfather, Verlin Braden; grandmother, Zora Braden; great friends, Howard Ray Dagley, and Geneva Kennedy.

Visitation: 12:00 Noon to 2:00 PM, Thursday, August 27, 2015 at Brown Flats Baptist Church in Briceville, Tennessee.
Funeral Service: 2:00 PM, Thursday, August 27, 2015 at Brown Flats Baptist Church with Rev. Charlie Mac Marlow and David Phillips officiating.
A graveside service will follow the funeral service on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at the Brown Flats Cemetery.
