Raymond Leonard Cox Iii

Raymond Leonard Cox III, age 66, of Jacksboro, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at the North Knoxville Medical Center in Powell. Ray was born on September 19, 1949 to Raymond Leonard Cox II and Martha Worthington in Anderson County, TN. Ray retired as a fireman with the Detroit Fire Department in Detroit, MI. Ray enjoyed yard work, weight lifting, and spending time with his dogs. After retirement, Ray became a building contractor. Ray is preceded in death by his father, Raymond Leonard Cox II, and his brothers: Jerry and Christopher Cox.

Funeral Service: 6:00 PM, Sunday, March 20, 2016 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment: Family and Friends will meet at the Cox Family Cemetery in Clinton, Tennessee at 10:00 AM, Monday, March 21, 2016 for Ray's interment.
