Peggy J. (Stittums) Byrge

Peggy June Byrge, age 75 of Clinton, entered into enternal rest on Saturday, January 22, 2011 after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. She was of the Baptist faith and member of the Blowing Springs Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by husband of 57 years, Johnny E. Byrge, parents, Carlos and Thelma Vickery Stittums, brothers, J.D. and Sherman Stittums, sisters, Mary (Maggie) Allen, Bonnie Josephine Pyke, and Wanda Day.

Daughter Darlene and husband, Jim Kirby Clinton

Sister Pearl Williams and husband, Freddy Kingston

Brothers Jimmy Stittums and wife, Dorothy Clinton
Dennis Stittums and wife, Evelyn Florida
Paul Stittums and wife, Linda Indiana

Special Nieces Mary Ann Goins and Angela Brown

Special Nephew Robert Phillips

Special Friend Wanda Phillips

Several other nieces and nephews and friends.

Pallbearers will be nephews and great nephews, Joshua Stittums, David T. Jarnigan, John Williams, Joshua Phillips, Robert Phillips Jr., and Preston Lowe.

Visitation: 10:00 AM - 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at the Hatmaker Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, January 25, 2011 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dolphie Cantrell and Bro. Robert Phillips officiating.
Interment: To follow the funeral service at Cecil Cemetery in Oneida, Tn.
