Pauline McCoy Maxfield, age 85, of Lake City passed away on September 4, 2024 at her residence. She was born on April 26, 1939 in Lake City to the late Horace McCoy and Bessie Carden. Pauline was a member of the Light House Church of God. She loved watching Westerns on TV, listening to Bennie tell stories of his childhood on the mountain, reading her Bible, and she loved all of her Grandkids and Great Grandkids and her special little buddy Ayden Rains. She is preceded in death by her husband John Maxfield, parents Horace McCoy and Bessie Carden, brothers Frank McCoy, Joe McCoy, Jimmy McCoy, sisters Margie Duncan, Barbara Lucile McCoy, children Linda Powers, Peggy Buttram, Great Grand Daughters Alyssa Rains, and Daughter in law Cheryl Powers. Pauline is survived by:
