Patsy Phillips Henegar, went to meet her savior peacefully in her home surrounded by family on Tuesday, April 1, 2014. She was born to Sherman and Bonnie (Hatmaker) Phillips on June 6, 1937 in Anderson County. She was an active member of Twinville Missionary Baptist Church. Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, Sherman and Bonnie (Hatmaker) Phillips.
Patsy is survived by her husband of 58 years, Rev. Franklin D. Henegar Sr. and her only son, Franklin D. Henegar Jr. and his wife, Paula, whom she lovingly called him Eddie; her granddaughter Sonja Sigurdson and her husband, Todd of Genoa, Ohio; grandson, Eddie Henegar and his wife, Angelina of Clinton, five great grandchildren; Lillian Henegar, LeAnna Henegar, Luke Henegar, Kyle and Andrew Sigurdson. Her brothers, Claude Phillips, Charlie Phillips and wife, Joyce; Don Phillips, Larry Phillips, Douglas Phillips and wife, Barbara; Ronald Phillips, and three sisters, Mary Alice Case and husband, Danny; Barbara Sue Rusk and husband, Dave; and Donna Jean Phillips. A special sister in law Emma Jones, and special friend, Jeanie Schlachter. Several nieces and nephews.
