Otis Patty Jr

Otis Patty Jr., age 72 of Caryville, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2015 at the LaFollette Medical Center. He was born in New River, Tennessee to the late Otis Sr. and Nancy Phillips Patty on January 16, 1943. Otis was a member of Shultz Hollow Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, ginsening, fruit trees, gardening, singing in church, telling stories, teaching people about the old ways, and spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, Otis is preceded in death by his brother: Ed Patty, and sisters: Eda Scarbrough, and Joyce Messamore.

Visitation: 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, Monday, December 7, 2015 at Hatmaker Funeral Home in Lake City.

Funeral Service: 12:00 Noon, Monday, December 7, 2015 at Hatmaker Funeral Home in Lake City with Rev. Murl Phillips, Rev. Charlie Mac Marlow, and Rev. Houston Carroll officiating.

Otis's interment will take place following the funeral service on Monday, December 7, 2015 at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Lake City.
