Ollie Wade Inman Wilson of Lake City went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 26, 2015. She lived a blessed full life, accepting her Savior, Jesus Christ at a young age. She was born at Ebenezer, Mississippi, April, 1921 to parents, the late Preston and Jenny Wade. She was the middle child of nine children, all of whom preceded her in passing (Homer, Cooper, Darry, Larry, Jimmy, Velma, Belle, and Loarine). Blessed with two marriages, first husband of 41 years, Tommy T. Inman who died at age 62, 34 years ago and years later, for 15 years to Ben Hooper Wilson who expired ten years ago.
She is survived by daughter, Carol Jo and husband Dr. Curtis Sexton, of Lake City, their six children: Dr. Melissa Sexton, of Atlanta, Georgia, Shelley and husband Robby Collier, of Knoxville, Dr. Wade Sexton and wife Angel, of Tampa, Florida, Jenny and husband Travis Martin, of Lake City, Ashley Sexton and wife Claudette, of Norris, and Peter Sexton and wife Stephanie of Norris.
Survived by son, Tommy Wade Inman and wife Rebecca, Dallas, Texas and their three children: Temple, Ingrid, and Wade. Survived by step-son Joe Ben Wilson and wife Charlene, of Fountain City, and step- granddaughter Lisa, of Washington D.C., and one step-great grandson. Survived by 25 great grandchildren, and special "daughter", Joyce Sharp of Lake City.
Loving her dearly, she is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends including her two church families in Lake City: the First Baptist Church and Main Street Baptist Church.
Mrs. Ollie worked for years in the Leflore County bank, Greenwood, Mississippi. After moving to Lake City in the 1970's, she continued banking employment at the C & C Bank until retiring. Lastly, she served as a receptionist in her son-in-law's medical practice.
Always true to her roots, she maintained her Mississippi accent, sweet sprit, and her warm engaging smile. The family wishes to give thanks to all those who loved and cared for her at Meadow View Assisted Living, Morning Point Lantern Living in Powell, Tenova North Hospital, Physician's Regional Transitional Care plus Tenova Residential Hospice.
Members of the family will serve as pall bearers with David Dew of Lake City as an honorary pall bearer.
Visitation: 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Hatmaker Funeral Home in Lake City, Tennessee.
Funeral Service: 4:00 PM, Sunday, March 29, 2015 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Martin officiating.
Interment: To Follow Funeral Service at Oak Grove Cemetery in Lake City on Sunday, March 29, 2015.
