Ollie Mae Chambers, age 97 of Clinton passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2013 at her residence. She was born on April 1, 1915 in Elk Valley, TN to the late Willis and Sarah Lawson Hicks .She was a member of Clinch River Baptist Church for over 50 plus years. She enjoyed playing and watching basketball, cooking, and her bible studies at her church. In addition to her parents, Ollie Mae is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Chambers Jr., her sons, Harold and Jay Chambers, her brothers, Chester, Oscar, and Carl Hicks, and her sister, Mattie Lou Lawson.

Visitation: 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Hatmaker Funeral Home in Lake City.
Funeral Service: 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2013 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Byrge, and Rev. Larry Webster officiating.
Interment: Family will hold a private graveside service at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at the Valley View Cemetery in Elk Valley for Ollie Mae's interment.
