Nancy Lee Thrasher, age 63, of Lake City, Tennessee passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, Dec 24, 2013. She was born to loving parents, Mary and William (Bill) R. Allen. She grew up and attended Briceville Elementary where she was a cheerleader until the family moved to Lake City, where she graduated from Lake City High School in 1968. She attended Jacksboro Vocational School where she became a nurse and started work at Lake City Hospital and Lake City Nursing Home. She was best known as Dr. Burrell's nurse for many years. She is preceded in death by her fun loving father, William (Bill) R. Allen, and leaves behind many who love her..

She was baptized at Briceville First Baptist Church and was a member of Main Street Baptist Church of Lake City where services will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 6 pm with a celebration of life service to follow at 8pm with Rev. Wayne.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Main Street Baptist Church.
