Millie Arettia (Duncan) Shoaf

Millie Arettia Duncan Shoaf, age 88, of Oliver Springs, passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at the NHC Health Care Center in Oak Ridge. She was born June 27, 1921 in Anderson County, TN to the late William and Sliney Bray Duncan. Millie was a member of the Friendly Welcome Baptist Church in Oliver Springs. She loved going to church, flowers, gardening and care giving for many elderly people. Millie is preceded in death by her husband, Henry R. Shoaf, brothers, Isaac, Willie, Elijah, Byrd, Link and Lawrence Duncan, sister, Pearl Armes and special niece, Pamela Miracle.

Visitation: 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, May 13, 2010 at Hatmaker Funeral Home.
Funeral: 8:00 PM Thursday, May 13, 2010 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Ward officiating.
Friends and family will meet at 11:00 AM Friday, May 14, 2010 at the Frost Bottom Cemetery in Oliver Springs, TN for Millie's interment.
