Melda Sharp

Melda Sharp, age 92, of Lake City, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2014 at her residence. She was born on May 26, 1922 to the late William and Ida Jane Foust Carden. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, singing, canning, cooking and spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her parents, Melda is preceded in death by her spouses, Luther Sharp and Robert Burks, daughter, Alice Faye Hatmaker and son, Gratz Carden, Jr.

Funeral Service: 8:00 PM Wednesday, November 12, 2014 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Byrge officiating.
Interment: Family and Friends will meet at 10:30 AM on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Hatmaker Funeral Home to go in procession to the Oak Grove Cemetery in Lake City, TN for an 11:00 AM Graveside Service.
