Medie Mae (Hawkins) Phillips

Medie Mae Phillips, age 85, of Lake City, passed away Monday, May 17, 2010 at the Summit View Health Care Center in Lake City. She was born June 11, 1924 in Anderson County, TN to the late Warner and Katie Tackett Hawkins. Medie was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed reading her Bible. She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Arvis Darryl Chamblee, daughter, Katherine Timmons, sisters, Margaret Wilson, Evelyn Janice and Geraldine Massengill Glover and grand daughter, Stacy Michelle Chamblee.

Funeral: 8:00 PM Thursday, May 20, 2010 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Genis Hawkins officiating.
Friends and family will meet at 1:30 PM Friday, May 21, 2010 at Hatmaker Funeral Home to go in funeral procession to Leach Cemetery in Lake City, TN for Medie's interment.
