Maxie Loretta Braden Beam Sharp

Maxie Loretta Braden Beam Sharp passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 peacefully at home with her loving family. She was born in Oliver Springs, Tennessee to William Riley and Stella Hooks Braden. Maxie worked as a seamstress and a Certified Nursing Assistant. She loved spending time with her beloved family, which was her greatest joy, attending the Women's Dinners at Main Street Baptist Church, cookouts, going to the beach, flea markets, and had spent the last several years taking care of a sister. When her children were small, Maxie often had a carload of their friends taking them to practice and ballgames which she enjoyed. She also was like another mother to her many nieces and nephews. Maxie was a member of Indian Bluff Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Maxie is preceded in death by: Husbands Ssgt. James L. Beam Sr., John L. (J.L.) Sharp, Special Nephew, Michael Wayne Braden, Brothers: Kenneth E. Braden and Donnie L. Braden, Sisters: Blanche Lorene Braden and Barbara J. Daugherty, and Nieces: Angela Braden and Sheryl Jenks.
