Braswell, Maxie Mae Seiber. Age 92.
Born on March 4, 1921 in Seiber Flat, Anderson County, Tn, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2013 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law with whom she made her home for the last five years. Maxie was formerly of Briceville, Tn. She was a Christian of the Baptist faith.
Preceded in death by husband, Charles Braswell, Jr. Parents; Willie T. and Cora Lee Duncan Seiber; sister, Gladys Daugherty - Brothers; Homer Dewey Seiber, Hubert Sylvester Seiber, Raleigh Cecil Seiber, Elmer Otto Seiber, W.D. Seiber.
Survived by her daughter, Cathy Ilene Hutcheson and son-in-law Don of Knoxville; Grandchildren - Laura Lee Floyd and husband Matthew of Jackson, Tn.; Leann Mae Robbins and husband Justin of Knoxville, Tn.; Leah Lucille Chandler and husband Michael of Knoxville, Tn.; very special brother and sister-in-law Kenneth Owen and Wanda Seiber of Medford, Tn., and many other nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed.
Maxie was retired from K-25 in Oak Ridge, Tn. and Modine Manufacturing of Clinton, Tn. She loved working in her garden, especially the flowers, working jig-saw puzzles and word finds. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, her grandchildren, and the company of her boston terrier, Wilson.
The family will receive friends at Hatmaker Funeral Home in Lake City, Tn. on Wed., August 7, 2013 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, with the funeral service following at 7:00 pm. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 AM on Thursday, Aug. 8, 2013 at the Woodhaven Memorial Gardens - (Masonic Garden) in Claxton, Tn for her interment.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a church or charity of choice.
