Mary Sue Smith

Mary Sue Smith, age 72 of Lake City, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 18, 2012. She was born July 1, 1940 in Hamblen County, Tennessee to the late Clarence and Verna Ruth Haun Ketner. Mary was a member of Pine Hill Baptist Church. She loved sewing, working outside with her flowers, arts and crafts. Mary also loved spending time with her family and friends, and going to church. In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her sisters Tonia Ketner, and Geraldine Adams, her grandson, Cody Phillips, and her special friend, Betty Armstrong.

Funeral Service: 8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 20, 2012 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lynn Mowery and Rev. Charles Harness officiating.
Interment: Friends and Family will meet at 9:30 AM on Friday, September 21, 2012 at Hatmaker Funeral Home to go in funeral procession to the Pine Hill Cemetery in Lake City for a 10:00 AM Burial.
