Martha Maidlene (Lively) Monroe

Martha Maidlene Lively Monroe, age 75 of Lake City, passed away Sunday, October 2, 2011 at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. She was born January 14, 1936 in Harlan Kentucky. to the late James Albert and Lula Catherine Jarvis Lively. Martha was a member of the Church of God Mountain Assembly. She enjoyed crocheting, making clothes, reading her Bible, visiting and praying for the sick . In addition to her parents, Martha is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Monroe, son, Michael Wayne Joe Monroe and sister, Yuma Newman..

Friends and Family will meet at 9:30 AM on Friday, October 7, 2011 to go in Funeral Procession to the Leach Cemetery in Lake City for a 10:00 AM Interment.
