Marjorie Mae Amos, age 83, of Lake City, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. She was born December 15, 1928 in Anderson County, Tn. to the late Luke and Myrtle Pike Beach. Marjorie was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lake City. She loved animals, cooking, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She retired from Lake City Elementary School cafeteria with 37 years of service. In addition to her parents, Marjorie is preceded in death by, her husband, Howard "Sid" Amos, and her brothers, Russell and Charles Beach.

Funeral Service: 8:00 PM, Tuesday, February 28, 2012 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roger Leach and Rev. Charles Harness officiating.
Interment: Friends and Family will meet at 12:30 PM on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at Hatmaker Funeral Home to go in procession to the Island Ford Cemetery in Lake City for the 1:00 PM interment.
