Marie "Prudie" Hilker

Marie Hilker, age 89 of the Beech Grove Community in Lake City passed away Thursday, February 17, 2011 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. She was born March 6, 1921 in Anderson County, Tn. to the late William and Maggie Massengill Sprankles. She was a member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed flowers, her dogs, and spending time with family and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Bud Hilker, her grandson, Jerry Snell, her brother, John Opal Sprankles, and sister Mamie Knight.
