MAGGIE TAYLOR (nee Martin), of Bainbridge Twp. August 30, 1918 - May 4, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Homer; dear mother of Wanda Saltsman, Martha and husband, John Godsey, Louise and husband, Phillip Holcombe; and James Taylor; loving grandmother of 12; cherished great grandmother of 14; fond great-great grandmother of eight, and sister of the late Franklin Taylor; sister of the late Luster, Odis, Norman Hugh, Addie Asher, Mary Biggs, Jesse Lee Farr, Stella, and Wesley Martin. Maggie was born in Lake City, TN to Lelia Bell Foust and Jess Martin on August 30, 1918. She was a school cook at Lake City Elementary School and later worked for American Automatic Vending when living in Ohio, where she has resided since 1968. She died May 4, 2013 at Stratford Commons Nursing Home from natural causes at age 94.
Visitation: 5:00 to 7:00 pm, Sunday, May 12, 2013 at Hatmaker Funeral Home
Funeral Service: 7:00 pm, Sunday, May 12, 2013 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Norton officiating.
Interment: 11:00 am Monday, May 13, 2013 at the Woodhaven Memorial Gardens in Claxton, Tennessee.
