Lonnie Phillips Jr., age 68 of Lake City, passed away on Sunday June 14, 2015. Lonnie was born in Briceville, Tennessee on January 17, 1947 to the late Alonzo and Itress Hunter Phillips. He was a carpenter for Pemberton Truck Lines. He was also a member of Pine Hill Baptist Church. Lonnie enjoyed gardening, flowers, wood working, yard selling, four wheeling, riding his jeep in the mountains, and spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his parents, Lonnie is preceded in death by his grandson: Cody Phillips, and granddaughter, Tailey Thackerson.

Funeral Service: 7:00 PM, Tuesday, June 16, 2015 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Devin Barnette and Rocky Jarnigan officiating.
Family and Friends will meet at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at the Hatmaker Funeral Home in Lake City to go in procession to the Rock Hill Cemetery in New River, Tennessee for an 11:00 AM graveside service.
