Linda Lou Foust

On June 26, 2014 Linda Foster Adkins Foust, 70, went to be with her Lord and Savior and is now cancer-free. She was born April 10, 1944 in Lake City to the late Robert Lee and Faye (Towe) Foster.
She was retired from Suntrust Bank where she had worked at the Lake City, Clinton, and Oak Ridge Branches. She was a member of Main Street Baptist Church in Lake City and she loved singing in the choir. She was a loving, caring, and giving woman and she treasured time spent with her family and friends.
She is predeceased by husband Jerry Adkins (2003) and Roy Foust (2013). She is survived by daughters Angie (Chester) Crowley of Clinton and Valerie (Joe) McCarty of Oak Ridge; grandchildren Ben (Amber) Crowley, Amanda Jenkins, Jason McCarty, and Jenna McCarty; and great-grandson Ethan Crowley. She is survived by sisters Kathy Burch and Pam Hartzler and brothers Tim Foster, Bill Foster, and Lonnie Foster, and special friends Jean Phillips and Janet Elliott. The family is very grateful for all the love, support and prayers from family and friends and especially to Kathy Burch, Jean Phillips, and Janet Elliott for their assistance in helping us take loving care of her.
Family and friends will be received Friday, June 27th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Main Street Baptist Church in Lake City. Funeral services will immediately follow. Interment will be at 9:00 am on Saturday, June 28th at Oak Ridge Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Main Street Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 405, Lake City, TN 37769.
Rev. Wayne Phillips will be officiating. Hatmaker Funeral Home in Lake City is in charge of the arrangements.
