Lillie Irene Butcher

Lillie Irene Viles Butcher, age 102, of Lake City, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2011 at Methodist Medical Center. She was born August 27, 1909 in Coal Creek, Tn. to the late John and Amanda Massengill Viles. Lillie was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lake City. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles,word search, crocheting, quilting, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. In addition to her parents, Lillie is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Butcher, sons, Johnny Butcher and Thomas Butcher, and daughters, Lila Hatmaker, and Arletta Alkire.

Visitation: 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 30, 2011 at Hatmaker Funeral Home
Funeral Service: 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 30, 2011 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Todd Hardin and Terry Hatmaker officiating
Family and friends will meet at Oak Grove Cemetery in Lake City for a 10:00 AM interment on Saturday October 1, 2011.
