Lewis "Cotton" Tucker

Lewis "Cotton" Tucker, age 88, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 21, 2014 at the Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. Cotton was born in Briceville, Tennessee on April 4, 1926 to the late Ace and Ruth Moody Tucker. He was a WWII United States Army veteran. Cotton retired from Martin Marrietta where he worked as a mail carrier. Cotton loved going to church at Main Street Baptist Church in Lake City, where he was a faithful member. He was also an active member of the Lake City Lion's Club, and a 50 year member of the Coal Creek Lodge 492 F&AM. Cotton loved working on lawn mowers, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. In addition to his parents, Cotton is preceded in death by his wife: Barbara L. Tucker; his brothers: Edward, George (Frog), and Arvil Tucker; and his sister: Emma Sue Summerfield

Masonic Service: 8:00 PM, Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at the Main Street Baptist Church in Lake City with the his funeral service immediately following with Rev. Wayne Phillips and Rev. Tom Byrge officiating.
Family and Friends will meet at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 to go in procession to the Oak Grove Cemetery in Lake City for Cotton's graveside services at 12:00 Noon.
