Lawrence Miles

Lawrence Miles, age 79 of the Oak Grove Community in Lake City, passed away Saturday, February 19, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center of Campbell County. He was born April 10, 1931 in Anderson County to the late Frank and Fannie Alford Miles. Lawrence was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed farming, traveling, taking his dogs for a ride, and spending time with family and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by, sister, Mary Helen Bullock and brother, Walter Miles.

Survivors:

Daughters Phyllis Connatser and husband, Mike Maryville
Victoria Huckaby and husband, James Jacksboro

Brother George Miles Lake City

Sister Lorene Diller Clinton

Grandchildren Ashley Byrge, Timothy Byrge, Dawn Hall, and Roxanne Ward.

Nine Great Grandchildren.

Several nieces and nephews and host of other relatives and friends.

The family would like to give a special thank you to his friends, Raymond and Annie and also
the staff at Shoprite, especially Connie.

Visitation: 6:00 -8:00 PM Monday, February 21, 2011 at Hatmaker Funeral Home.
Funeral: 8:00 PM Monday, February 21, 2011 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Scott Martin officiating.
Family and friends will meet at 10:30 AM Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at Hatmaker Funeral Home to go in funeral procession to Oak Grove Cemetery in Lake City for a 11:00 AM burial.
