John William Tackett

John William Tackett, age 71, of Lake City, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2014. He was born on June 1, 1943 in Anderson County to the late Conda and Mary Alice Duncan Tackett. John was a member of Fraterville Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, hunting, ginsenging, and anything that involved being outdoors. John is preceded in death by his brothers: Arvil, Clarence, Carl, Lewis Tackett; sister, Hazel Tackett Duncan; brothers-in-law, Goldman Kennedy, Gene Pyles, Aarone Duncan.

Visitation: 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon Saturday, July 19, 2014 at Hatmaker Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: 12:00 Noon Saturday, July 19, 2014 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenny Sharp and Nephew John Duncan officiating.

Mr. Tackett's interment will follow his funeral service on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at the Cumberland Mountain View Cemetery. (Old Swag Church).
