John L Wilson

John L. Wilson, age 87, of Clinton, passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at the Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. John was born February 4, 1926 in Anderson County, TN to the late Joe A. and Eliza Mayes Wilson. He served as a United States Air Force Veteran during WWII. John was a member of the Valley View Missionary Baptist Church in Dutch Valley. He enjoyed staying busy. In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by his wife: Myrtle Wilson, and 15 brothers and sisters.

Visitation: 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Hatmaker Funeral Home in Lake City.
Funeral Service: 3:30 p.m. Saturday, February 23, 2013 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Byrge officiating.
Interment: Will follow funeral service at the United Methodist Church Cemetery in the Dutch Valley Community in Clinton with Military Honors by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
