John Thomas "Tom" Byrge

John Thomas "Tom" Byrge, age 78 of Lake City, passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. He was born July 18, 1934 in Campbell County to the late Everette and Ruby Phillips Byrge. Tom was a Air Force veteran who served in the Korean War. He was a member of the Longfield Baptist Church. Tom enjoyed fishing and watching Tennessee football and basketball. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by wife; Louise Sharp Byrge, son; John "Anthony" Byrge, brothers; Glen, Charles, and Earnest Byrge, sisters; Susie Norman and Clara Hammer.

Visitation: 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 2, 2012 at Hatmaker Funeral Home in Lake City.
Funeral Service: 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 2, 2012 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Phillips officiating.
Friends and Family will meet at Oak Grove Cemetery in Lake City at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 3, 2012 for his interment.
