John Stephen Ayers

John Stephen Ayers, age 59, of Lake City, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville. John was born September 12, 1955 to the late John William Jr. (Babe), and Edna Mae Sharp Ayers. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lake City. John enjoyed NASCAR racing, being involved in the Knoxville Ice Bears, dirt track racing and spending time with family and friends.

Visitation: 2:00PM - 4:00 PM Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Hatmaker Funeral Home in Lake City.
Funeral Service: 4:00 PM Saturday, April 25, 2015 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brian Courtney officiating.
Family and Friends will meet at 2:00 PM Sunday, April 26, 2015 at the Oak Ridge Memorial Park for John's interment.
