Jerry Powers

Jerry W. Powers of Amelia, Ohio, born in Pioneer, Tennessee on January 15, 1949, passed away on September 23, 2016 at North Bethesda Hospital in Ohio. Beloved husband of Tammy S. Powers, loving father to Adam W. Powers and Katie S. Powers. Grandfather to Zackery Powers, Kari F. Taylor, Cooper P. Strong and Tessa L. Strong. Stepfather to Megan A. Sites (Scott) and Casey P. Strong (Trista). He is also survived by his brother Dennis Powers (Helen) and a sister, Joyce Roberts. He is preceded in death by his parents Chester Powers, Edna Powers and a daughter Kelly A. Powers.

Visitation: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, September 29, 2016 at the Hatmaker Funeral Home in Lake City, Tennessee.
Funeral Service: 7:00 p.m., Thursday, September 29, 2016 with Rev. Delmus Bruce and Rev. Pat Ayers officiating in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment: Friday, September 30, 2016 at the Broyles Cemetery in Pioneer.
