Jeanne Mayes Abner of the Medford community went to be with the Lord on July 4, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Hugh Abner; parents, Roy Ace Mayes and Autie Mae Barnett Mayes; and sister Rachael Mayes Rayfield Singleton. Survivors include sons Terry Brian Abner (Lisa Abner) of Clinton and Kelly Blake Abner (Jason Bergevin) of Seattle; daughter Traci Lynne Abner Harrison (Vaughn Harrison) of Clinton; sister Eyvonne Mayes Cantrell Suter of Sevierville; grandchildren Corey Brian Abner, Holly Nicole Abner White, Lucas Vaughn Harrison, Lane Edward Harrison; seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Known for her great talents in cooking and sewing, Jeanne will be missed by loved ones, friends and family. She was a member of Clinch River Baptist Church. The family would like to give a special thanks to her daughter-in-law, Lisa Abner, who was Jeanne's friend and caregiver for the last two years.

Funeral 8 pm Friday July 6, 2012 at the Clinch River Baptist Church with Rev. Tom Byrge officiating
Interment Family and Friends will meet at the Oak Ridge Memorial Park at 10 am Saturday, July 7, 2012.
